Scholarships are critical to ensure that Cranbrook Kingswood is a viable option for bright and deserving students, regardless of their financial circumstances. Scholarships allow the Schools to continue admitting a broad range of students of diverse backgrounds and talents. While we have now met our minimum goal, the need for additional scholarship funds is vast and fundraising therefore will continue.

HORIZONS-UPWARD BOUND
Endowing Horizons-Upward Bound will safeguard this remarkable program, the longest continually operating Upward Bound program in the country. A self-supporting program, it provides vital college preparatory opportunities for students with limited family resources from metropolitan Detroit to enter and succeed in post-secondary education

TECHNOLOGY
The impact of SMART Board technology on education has been dramatic. The boards augment learning, enhance instruction and encourage interaction between faculty and students. The goal is to provide SMART Board technology in every classroom, as well as to train faculty and upgrade equipment.

ANNUAL FUND
Dedicated to helping bridge the 15-percent gap between tuition and the cost of educating students, gifts assist in maintaining small class sizes, ensuring up-to-date technology, awarding faculty compensation and renewing classrooms and faculty housing. All of this maintains the very special learning environment of Cranbrook Schools.
