he greater Cranbrook Community, including Cranbrook House and Gardens, serves as an important historical reminder of where Cranbrook began. Through its care of Cranbrook's architectural and landscape treasures, as well as the infrastructure and operations which underpin the entire campus, the Cranbrook community also serves as an important reminder of what must be done to protect this oasis of education, art and science. Among the Community's many projects awaiting your support:
ENDOWMENT
Increasing the Cranbrook endowment fund is imperative, enabling the community to provide for ongoing operational, programmatic and preservation efforts while maintaining the valuable capital necessary to ensure fiscal stability for Cranbrook well into the future.
FUNDS RAISED TO DATE: $5.1 MILLION | SUPPORT NEEDED: $2 MILLION
PLANNED PRESERVATION AND RENEWAL
From the brick work and pathways to the hand-hewn stone walls and unforgettable sculptures, Cranbrook's campus is filled with important architectural and landscape entities that must be preserved and restored in order to maintain the beauty and grace of this National Historic Landmark. Resting out of sight and below ground is an aging infrastructure, too, consisting of plumbing, electrical and other elements that keep this campus functioning. These systems are vital to the community and must be upgraded and restored to keep Cranbrook running smoothly. Other efforts include landscaping, upkeep and ongoing maintenance.
FUNDS RAISED TO DATE: $4.6 MILLION | SUPPORT NEEDED: $10 MILLION
