CAMPAIGN FOR CRANBROOK
OVERVIEW

he power of vision and providing opportunity for new generations has been at the heart of the Cranbrook experience since the day that George and Ellen Booth first set foot on a farm in Bloomfield Hills and transformed it into one of the world's premier centers for art, science and education.

Since that day in 1904, Cranbrook has been guided by its founders' lifetime of giving and desire to create something of lasting importance for society, culture and the world.

Preserving the treasure created by the Booths, strengthening the present as well as ensuring what the future can be, is at the core of The Campaign for Cranbrook. This $150 million comprehensive campaign will address our essential needs for Cranbrook Institute of Science, Cranbrook Schools, Cranbrook Academy of Art and Cranbrook Art Museum and Cranbrook Educational Community by focusing on capital projects, endowment and planned preservation and by nourishing current programs.

Those who have walked through this treasured campus and those yet to come are the central reasons for this campaign. Inspire a mind. Preserve the treasure. It is the essence of our challenge, our legacy and the reason why each gift makes a difference.

The Campaign for Cranbrook will secure the resources necessary to ensure that the people, places and programs that make Cranbrook what it is will continue to flourish for generations to come.
