State-of-the-Art Observatory Facility: The acquisition of a new telescope and partial renovation of the observatory to create a state-of-the-art celestial facility to complement the Institute's recently upgraded planetarium technology.

SUPPORT NEEDED: $300 THOUSAND

 

Center for Watershed Education: The establishment of a Center for Watershed Education to serve as a premier program and resource facility will stress the importance of watershed conservation in the Great Lakes region.

SUPPORT NEEDED: $1 MILLION

 

Early Childhood Discovery Center: An upgrade of programs and spaces tailored to our youngest science learners through the creation of an Early Childhood Discovery Center and renovation of our lower classroom district.

SUPPORT NEEDED: $500 THOUSAND

 

Interactive Anthropology Gallery: The creation of a 1,500-square-foot interactive anthropology hall that together with the Flint Anthropology Gallery will showcase the very best objects in the Institute's nationally-recognized anthropology collection featuring artifacts from around the world.
